read moreNestled in a charming atmosphere, the Pilgrims Hall Restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. While some visitors have praised the generous portions and friendly service during lunch, Sunday Carvery experiences have been inconsistent, leaving many disappointed by limited meat options and lackluster vegetables. The setting, although beautiful, has been critiqued for being uncomfortably cold. Service can feel disorganized, with guests often waiting longer than anticipated. Despite these issues, the venue presents an appealing option for casual meals and takeaways, particularly their well-received afternoon tea. Overall, while there are highlights, a more consistent dining experience is desired.
Beautiful environment, eating was amazing, very festive and all hand made. the personal is very friendly, a great little sound. will definitely return.
