I ordered takeout from a highly-rated restaurant and it was the worst meal I've ever had! Everything was overcooked, the tikka and bhaji were dark brown and extremely dry. The naan bread was small and the relish tray had some sauces with a strange taste. I won't be returning as there are many better Indian restaurants in Maidstone. Overall, it was an awful experience. We have ordered a dozen or more times from melad and each time was excellent, good service and excellent eating. highly recommended
We ordered a takeaway, decided to try tikka massala jalfrezi with mushroom rice. The sauce was really flavoursome with a great kick. I would definitely order again and hopefully eat in very soon. It arrived quickly and was still quite hot.
Very Poor Service. We have just moved to the area and ordered for the 1st time. I understand a takeaway on a saturday evening is going to take its time. We were told delivery time would be 1 hour. 2hrs 15mins later no takaway had arrived and no one answering the phones!! In the meantime we ordered elsewhere and were tucking into a delicious chinese delivery when our food finally arrived after nearly 3 hours! Shame as this could have been our go to curry restaurant!.
My experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I placed a takeaway order on a Saturday night with a promised delivery time of 1 hour and 5 minutes. However, after waiting for 3 hours, the order still had not arrived. I called multiple times to inquire about the delay and was repeatedly told that it was on its way. After making four calls over a period of 1 hour and 30 minutes, they started hanging up on me. While they did apologize and offer a refund, their poor service ruined our plans for the evening. I believe I am entitled to compensation in the form of free food for the inconvenience caused. Overall, the customer service was abysmal and disgraceful.
