I admit, as a Floridian, I am so glad to have found my own little oasis nearby! I love the Florida Keys vibe. We have eaten here a couple of times for lunch. The sandwiches are delicious, the staff friendly, and the prices are very affordable. If you want a touch of the beach during our cold winter months, check out Chim's Oasis!Kid-friendliness: This is definitely a family friendly little spot for families with kids... View all feedback.
Chim’s Oasis is a unique little spot for breakfast or lunch. I loved the quirky colorful ambiance. Chose from indoor or outdoor seating. The menu features some innovative choices definitely worth trying. The food was good.Pro tip: real maple syrup is available by request at no extra charge ? ?. Of course the bathroom was clean.
I popped in to try this place and was very pleasantly surprised! From the outside it 's small and you could miss it despite the colourful facade, but it 's so worth the trip to Tonawanda! It 's a quaint little shop, with indoor and outdoor seating, with is perfect for the current weather. Outside is picnic tables, but I chose to sit in. The tables can fit 2 4 patrons, although there aren 't many of them. There are a couple of larger, raised corner booths. The chairs inside are strudy wooden ones that add to the charm with their well used look. I decided to try the Breakfast Souvlaki and and addd a side of home fries with peppers and onions. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the portion size was good, although it was so tasty I wished it were even larger! After finishing, I decided to take out a couple items for our lunch, so I brought home a turkey burger and the black bean burger. As with the breakfast, my sort of 'litmus test ' for food is how it tastes without any condiments if the food can stand on its own (even if condiments elevate it), then it 's definitely something I probably would get again. The turkey burger was quite good, with an excellent roll. My only wish was that it was a homemade patty, which I don 't think it was, as it was too flat and round. Good, but could possibly be better, although I 'd still get it. The black bean burger, however, blew way past my expectations. I 'd put it up there as one of the best in the area, and I 've tried a lot of them! It was pleasantly spicy, with the same roll, and I absolutely loved it! It didn 't need condiments at all, although I 'll probably try one next time... TL;DR Quaint little restaurant with excellent food, and something for everyone.
Chims never disappoints! Friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food to go with it! Best soup in town for sure. Tried the soup of the week (loaded potato) and it was delicious. Their chicken noodle is always delicious and loaded with chicken, veggies and noodles that make it a hearty meal on its own! Best coffee, milkshakes, I could go on ?
If I could give Chim's a 10-star review, I would. There aren't enough praises in the world to capture how much I love this place. You walk in, and it feels like a safe place where you're welcome and can sip coffee and let your worries slip away. The owners, Chelsea and Tim, are warm and friendly, and the FOOD IS AMAZING. Highly recommend trying the Benny Tater Cakes, along with a tall cup of their gratitude blend (a Chim's original coffee! . We've become regulars here and stop by almost every weekend. We love it so much. Definitely recommend checking it out!
