Description

Tucked in Houston, this beloved mom-and-pop bakery turns out melt-in-your-mouth donuts and standout kolaches — boudin, sausage-jalapeño and butter-brushed varieties among them. Friendly owners, old-school hospitality and fresh made-to-order breakfast sandwiches make it a neighborhood staple often preferred to chains. Expect a broad classic selection, though early-morning inventory can be limited; ideal for locals, commuters and anyone craving authentic, small-batch pastries.

This shop is a beloved local donut place, offering a wide variety of options. They have frosted donuts, cake donuts, glazed, twist, bear claws, Long Johns, donut holes, cream-filled, jelly-filled, sour cream, and even Texas kolaches (not the fruit pastries). After moving away, this is one of the places we miss the most because they had something for everyone in our family.

The best kolaches and donuts you'll find anywhere! I've been coming here for years and they've never let me down. The kolaches have the softest bread, and the fillings are absolutely incredible. I especially love the sausage jalapeño and the boudin. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making it feel like a true community staple. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

This donut shop is truly exceptional, offering fantastic customer service and a warm, friendly atmosphere! Having recently relocated from Fort Collins, Colorado, I’ve been on the lookout for the best donuts in the area, and I can confidently say that I’ve found the one! I'm thoroughly impressed.

These donuts are soooo good. They are perfectly soft and melt in you mouth! Small mom and pop shop, the lady that helped us was so friendly and helpful. Personal plus for me, they're Cambodian owned. A must try!
