Captain Brad's Coastal Kitchen

I must admit that I once wrote an inaccurate review of this restaurant, which I regretted and later corrected. My family and I dine here regularly and always enjoy our meals. The owner made every effort to ensure I was happy after my initial review, for which I am grateful. When my dad's birthday came around, I wanted to do something special for him, so I decided to treat him to some amazing seafood at this restaurant. The owner helped me make a reservation, place a pre-order, and even allowed me to bring balloons and a cake. The reservation was for 7pm, and I had a surprise planned for my dad to arrive at 7:30pm. The staff made sure that all the food was ready and on the table by 7:20pm. They even wrote a lovely "Happy Birthday" message on their door sign. When my dad arrived, I started singing and the entire (packed) restaurant joined in the celebration. A business that goes above and beyond like this deserves support, and I am truly thankful to them for helping me make my dad's day special. As for the food, we ordered the Captain Brad's Boil, as shown in the pictures. The flavors were outstanding, with Old Bay and the house seasoning becoming our favorites. The crab legs and shrimp were perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you ever run out of Captain Brad's boil, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to this restaurant. Thank you once again to the owners and their team for helping me celebrate a special day.

Avoid this place if you expect any type of service. We waited 10 minutes after being seated on a Saturday before our server even showed up. I had to go back to the hostess to find out who our server was. We ordered drinks and appetizers, but the Brussels sprouts and cups of beer came out without plates. We had to ask the waitress to take our entree orders. The adult entrees came before the gumbo, and the mahi mahi had a dry white wine sauce instead of garlic butter. The children's pizza was a frozen $3 pizza served burnt and at room temperature. The gumbo also arrived at room temperature, and the waitress didn't bother to check on it. When we finally asked to speak to the floor manager, we had to wait another 10 minutes for the bill. We had to ask twice for a manager, and after waiting for 5 minutes, we gave up and looked for one ourselves. Despite there being open tables on a Tuesday evening, the service was still abysmal. We were offered a free appetizer for our trouble, but we declined. I didn't come here for free food, I came for a good meal and service. I will never return to this restaurant.

The food was excellent and the service was the best I have had in a long time at a restaurant! The server had a smile on her face the entire time, which always enhances the dining experience. This was our first time here, but we will definitely be coming back.

I was here a few times, but last night was by far the best experience I had with this restaurant. my server jackie welcomed me quickly and politely, very confidently informed me about the specials and limited items offered in this night. I was happy with some delicious King-Cab and some snow cab with Shrimp Campi. jackie even came by after having brought the food to make sure everything was perfect to taste. her service was impeccable! I will be more than happy to come back and sit in jackies section. 10/10

FB group recommended this place and it didn't disappoint! The crab was delicious and cooked just right! Easy to peel, tender and juicy! The hush puppies were also delicious but we didn't finish since there was so much meat in the crab ?
