This restaurant is fantastic. The menu is simple and to the point. We ordered two different burgers to share—one topped with sweet burnt ends and the other with their pork belly bacon. The sourdough buns were perfectly grilled. Plus, there’s outdoor space for enjoying live music.

Our group consisted of both adults and children and everyone gave an enthusiastic thumbs up. I had a turkey sandwich. The turkey had that smoky flavor really good BBQ should have. The others in our party had the beef and brisket and they all had the same feeling and express how much they enjoyed their meal and their plans to return. My one minor suggestion is the cole slaw, which I think needs some work. If you have kids, Bexar has a playground for their entertainment and a few minutes for the adults to finish their meal.
