Fast, cosy atmosphere and has a great variety of dishes to choose from that you don't find in other chinese restaurants. This place hasn't declined it's quality at all over the years and is up there being one of the best chinese restaurants I've tried for the price. Staff is really nice. Really good price vs benefit. What User doesn't like about Tian Chi Ge:
Food was pretty poor. We ordered a few dishes. The three meat dishes were exactly the same apart from different meat! We asked if we could have crispy beef and prawns turned up cooked in the same style as the other meat dishes instead. We said no! crispy beef and they took the prawns away. We ordered a Starter Prawn Crackers , well we thought more than one at least , but no just one small one was served with no taste at all , no wonder all it had in it was some cabbage in it and nothing else , whereas every other Chinese restaurant we have been to at least you have bean shoots in as well .. Chicken Mushroom soup was OK but very watery. Then dropped on the table when we had just started the soup the portion of fried rice that we had ordered for the main meal to go cold while we were eating the soup . The main course Chicken to Thailand spicy on a hot stone, we ask for extra spice taste, but it had no taste of spice at all whatsoever. Then when we had been served the main meal , the waitress forgot altogether the French fries chips , then when they came out not cooked properly . So yet another Chinese restaurant to avoid in Portugal … for us anyway.

Don’t waste your money on the starters. Fried wonton is amusing. If you look carefully and hold up to the light you may see a small circle which is the filling. The spring roll had been flattened on arrival and the soup lacked any flavour. Mains were ok. Service was entertaining. Miserable waitress . The other drinking herself to oblivion behind the bar.Cheap and cheerful but one to be avoided .
Just had a wonderful lunch here. Everything was most satisfactory especially given the price...
