The manager and staff are so attentive that, even if the food was not as great, that would still have been a good experience. The dishes are generous, fresh, traditional local fare. The Caldo Verde soup and Bacalhau com Natas (creamy cod) were to die...for. The restaurant has a large glass window facing the river and the Templar convent. Highly recommended.

Delightful service and good local food. Some staff have limited English but they work hard to understand (and an English language menu is available Very very good value for money. Desserts seem to be prepackaged: if you don’t want dessert then read this as a...5 star review.
