Friendly accommodating staff in a warm cozy room. Lots of wine to choose from. The menu was interesting with a good variety of options. My husband I both had parslied cod served with potato we shared sautéed vegetable. Delicious. What User doesn't like about Beira Rio:
Is it because we refused the bread and olives that we had to wait 45 minutes for 2 Ceasar salad and 1 beef steak for the dinner ? But there is more: the salad was drowned in the sauce and the steak was so tough (requested medium) that it shouldn't be decently sold..... This is our fist disappointment on our 3 weeks road trip in Portugal. My suggestions is look for another place for eating, this place doesn't deserve... View all feedback.
This is a very good restaurant with proper Portuguese food and ambience! The service was spectacular even with us coming in very late (around 3pm), the music with happy fados was spot on and the food was to die for. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone that wants to great food!
Just returned from having a wonderful meal with my family. Great food and service and reasonable prices, will be back for more.
