When we decided to leave and wanted to pay, was no waiter to be seen outside for at least 15 minutes, had to go inside to pay, after finding out that the person that took the order didn’t post what we ordered, had to wait another 5 minutes for her to turn up. Of course couldn’t pay with card as their pdq machine was broken. No apologies at all from the part of any member of the staff. If you visit the main square in Tomar, avoid this place, sit in any of the other coffee shops next to this one
On the face of it, the cafe looks lovely. Nice selection of cakes. We ordered some drinks and I quickly nipped to the toilet. No paper, would not flush as no top on the cistern. Water all over the floor. If the toilets reflect the cafes cleanliness, then it is a no from me!!
In the main square with indoor and outdoor seating. It's not the most exciting square, but the coffee is good and there is a huge selection of pastries. And the price is right.
Im not sure I like the white decor. But the coffee and wide selection of cakes is truly very good. Staff are friendly. U can sit outside. Its warm inside. Busy by local people so must be good.
The service was quick and the staff was nice. The soup was good but i was not much impressed by the pizza slice which was cold and not offered to be heated. The Portuguese egg tart was big and not too sweet. I would recommend it for a coffee break.
