Four of us went out for dinner to see what the restaurant was like, and we were all very satisfied with our meals. In fact, we were even more pleased than we had expected. To start, we ordered some shared appetizers, which were delicious, though we felt they were a bit overpriced. Despite that, we would definitely consider returning.
The food and drink menus are quite limited. The young staff seems enthusiastic, but they lack knowledge about the items offered. I expected them to be better trained. However, the atmosphere in the dining area has noticeably improved with the addition of the patch. Unfortunately, I don't think the food has improved much, if at all; it's still the same basic offerings at a somewhat higher price.
Tomakin is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food and a friendly staff who provide detailed explanations of the menu. The prices are reasonable, making it a great value. I will definitely be returning. - Gary Landells

**Dining at The Patch: A Mixed Review** The Patch, recently revamped within the Tomakin bowling club, offers a pleasant atmosphere but struggles with consistency in its food quality and pricing. While the updated decor enhances the dining experience and the service is generally attentive, the limited menu often features dishes that feel overpriced, with some patrons noting that the food lacks the quality it once had. The enthusiasm of the staff is commendable, though their training proves insufficient for detailed menu knowledge. For locals, the rising costs may push them toward more affordable options, leaving some diners divided on their experience.

Four of us visited the restaurant for dinner to assess the quality of the food. We were all extremely pleased with our meals, which exceeded our expectations. The dishes looked appealing and satisfied our appetites. We started with shared dips, which were tasty, but we felt they were overpriced and wouldn't order them again.
The food and drink menus are quite limited. The young staff seem to lack detailed knowledge about the options available, but they are very enthusiastic. I initially thought they might be trainees, but apparently not. The ambiance of the dining area has seen a significant improvement with the addition of The Patch. However, I don’t believe the quality of the food has improved much, if at all. It still feels like typical club fare, just with slightly higher prices.
