The selection of... read more How can you not LOVE The Windmill! I've been stopping by every time I visit our cabin for as long as I can remember—at least when they’re open. The selection of ice cream is incredible, and the staff is always friendly! The prices are reasonable, and there are various options for cones and dishes. Just a heads up—the scoops are usually larger than you anticipate! With so many flavors on offer, constantly changing, you’re bound to find something you’ll love. Expect a line out the door on summer evenings, but trust me, the wait is well worth it! They’ve recently made some changes to improve the flow inside. You can grab your ice cream, pay, and then head out to a little seating area, or walk back to your boat or down the trail to enjoy it. Just remember, it's cash only; they don't accept cards.

W... read more I wouldn't even give this place a single star if I didn't have to rate it to leave a review. This was my first time ordering two pizzas from this gas station. We followed the cooking instructions carefully, but now we're both feeling unwell after eating the pizzas just last night. I don't think we'll be getting their pizza again, and I would really appreciate a refund for the order.
