Was Julia S at Tomahawk Pizza a mag?
I absolutely love the Windmill! I can't imagine anyone not enjoying it! The flavors are fantastic, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, and there's a lovely lake nearby. View all feedback.
What Suzanne S dislikes about Tomahawk Pizza:
In past summers we have stopped once a week- the cones were huge, the staff were friendly and it was a great bang for your buck. I get that costs have gone up, but they no longer offer sizes that families need. Because their cones are so large, a single scoop is WAY too large for a kid and a ton of it goes to waste. They no longer offer a tiny cone, which they did away with this year. The cost of a single cone was al... View all feedback.
We spent the weekend here with two other couples and decided to stop by for ice cream on our last night. We arrived about thirty minutes before closing, and to our surprise, there was a long line of about ten people outside the door. I was a bit concerned we wouldn't get served, but according to some other reviews, that line moves quickly—and it really did! All six of us got our ice cream, and I ignored my friends' warnings about the portion sizes. I ordered two scoops in a waffle cone, and wow! It felt like I was carrying four pounds of ice cream. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I've never encountered a place so generous with their servings. I'm glad I didn't go for a third scoop! On the bright side, the ice cream was delicious, and I eventually finished my two scoops of cotton candy in about thirty minutes. So good! I recommend anyone who visits to stick with a single scoop unless you're really hungry. After that, take a walk over to the bridge to watch the boats pass by—it's a fantastic experience!
Absolutely delicious! We visited this place several times during our stay, and the flavors change daily, keeping things exciting. The portion sizes are incredibly generous—one scoop here feels like two (or even more) at other ice cream shops. I tried the butter pecan and lemon cheesecake flavors, both of which were fantastic. They also offer at least one non-dairy option every day. Don't let the line scare you; it moves quickly!
I visited this local favorite for the first time today and it did not disappoint. A single scoop served in a dish costs $3.50 and the portion is huge. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the ice cream was delicious. It's easy to see why this place is so popular!
I wouldn't even give this place a single star if I didn't have to rate it to leave a review. This was my first time ordering two pizzas from this gas station. We followed the cooking instructions carefully, but now we're both feeling unwell after eating the pizzas just last night. I don't think we'll be getting their pizza again, and I would really appreciate a refund for the order.
