Outboards Grill - Tomahawk
Outboards Grill
Description
A riverside staple known for lively bartending, standout cocktails and generous, well-priced plates — often praised for fresh ingredients and a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. Warm, chatty service and outdoor seating make it a popular stop for travelers and casual diners. Experiences vary, however: guests report slow ticket times, billing errors, inattentive bussing and uneven kitchen consistency (from weak sandwiches to poorly plated shared items), suggesting the need for tighter quality control.

The menu hasn't changed in ages, and the waitress repeatedly walked past napkins on the floor without picking them up. The coleslaw was both warm and sour. There were no plates provided for the garbage can nachos. It was truly disappointing, especially considering there are only two places along the river to eat.
My girlfriend and I stopped by for some drinks and were served by Theresa, the most lively and cheerful bartender I've ever encountered. She crafted the drinks like a true mixology master! Definitely the best mixed drinks in Tomahawk!
I had the brisket sandwich, and it was outstanding. There was a generous amount of food on our plates. The owner stopped by to chat, and it was a very enjoyable conversation.
