What Nhu Lạc doesn't like about A Funtanella:
the menu is only a bar-style menu not that of fantasy shown on the pictures there was a lot of world at the outdoor bar but we sat inside with the air conditioning. View all feedback.
Eating is just delicious. all fresh and made to home. we ate a lot here. the service was also great. the place to recommend
Ende september, only other guests, where locals at the bar, we had only ordered the choice of three. the personal was really nice. the duck was absolutely delicious! came with excellent kartoffeln. charcutterie was good as expected. the gloomy was the cherry up. Maybe. perhaps right at the right time. really enjoyed!
Hang down the best pizza in the world! okay, so I like thin crust pizza and wow is good! but this is not the only reason we liked it here and came back several times. the people were really nice and easy to go!
We went to this restaurant on July 2014.We were 2 adults and 2 children. It was written on the billboard cuisine traditionnelle , so we thought we may have some local food served. The waiter came without any smile, or even a Bonjour . I ordered a...beer, and then we choose some Salade Fraîcheur et tartine gratinée Tome corse et pruneaux , which means: Fresh salad and slice of bread au gratin with Corsican Tome Cheese and prune . The waiter came with a glass of beer that wasn 't fullfilled normally 25 cl . I told him that the glass was only two third filled. He answered me that the beer barrel was empty so he couldn 't poor anymore beer in the glass. A moment after he brought us our Fresh salad and slice of bread with Corsican Tome cheese 13€ . I noticed that it wasn 't Corsican Tome cheese but an Industrial goat cheese with no particular taste . He told us that he had no more Corsican Tome cheese, and that anyway this Corsican cheese tasted too strong, and that this was the reason why he would only cook this tasteless industriel goat cheese. He came at us with the bill. I was expecting a discount, but there wasn 't any. So we told him this wasn 't fair and that he supposed to serve the exact quantity of beer, and the same quality of cheese as mentioned on the set menu. His brother came to help him It seems to be a family handled restaurant and his father too. There was no way to discuss about anything. That 's too bad because otherwise Tulla is a wonderfull Corsican village with its mountains and its lake. By the way, this restaurant proposes quite only pizzas, salads or omelette, and only one Charcuterie plate . The set menu doesn 't mention if this charcuterie plate is made of Corsican wild pig very famous or not. So we can logicaly think that despite the fact that this restaurant pretends to serve some cuisine traditionnelle , he does not propose any traditional corsican food.
You 'll probably miss this small family Cuisine Traditionnelle/Pizzeria restaurant as you wind out of Tolla on the road to Ajaccio. If its lunch time try not to! This unpretentious place has a blackboard for a menu and only a few dishes for first and second....The salads are well prepared and tasty, the meat is probably not as good as it could be, but well enough. The service is attentive if a little slow, (we are in Corsican after all). The prices are reasonable at about 18 euros/person without wine.
