We took a 50 minute drive from Ajaccio up into the hills to Lac de Tolla. The narrow winding roads are a bit precarious with few passing places for oncoming cars. Head for the Bas Nautique and stop off for a coffee and crepe in La Paillotte near the water’s edge, then walk up towards the canoe hire place this will take you to a short walk around part of the lake. Very beautiful place that would deserve to be put more in value. the layouts remain rudimentary, which tends to preserve the site.
Great place in the season, welcome to the top, all staff is very available and friendly. salads are excellent, in short we recommend

Very picturesque village above a beautiful lake.
