We placed an order by telephone. Order was ready on time and didn't disappoint in any way. Very popular with locals. Reputation for excellent food is well known. Very friendly comfortable resturant.

Inside Toledo walls there are too many restaurants and choice not easy so the best is to ask locals where to eat. It was excelent. From the cheese croquetes to the magnificent and more than well served paella not to forget the unforgivable Rioja everything was perfect. Staff very nice and helpful. It is a pity that locals do not participate more with Trip Advisor as travellers may well skip these fantastic restaurants of really tasty regional food.

Great service for lunch, best option to impress colleagues or customers. This is a place where you can have high quality and a fast and kind table service. A touch of creativity from the cook mixed with the local flavor and the traditional Spanish plates. Rice dishes are recommended but as well the specialty salads. I have noted this place which you can easily miss if you are a tourist in Toledo (a bit out of the touristic route). I would definitely bring friends and family. Suggested by a local customer.

Merece la pena cada euro que pagas. Desde el foie que te ponen mientras esperas la comida, pasando por el impresionante arroz caldoso de bogavante, hasta el coulant de chocolate, es una auténtica maravilla de principio a fin. Sin duda alguna muyyyyy recomendable. Calidad-precio insuperable. Atención excelente y muy profesional.

Recomiendo mucho el sitio. Si que es verdad que no es un sitio barato. Pero he de decir que vale cada euro. Primero nos trajeron con las bebidas un aperitivo que era una bola de foie con reducción de pedro tximenez y mermelada de pimientos… que eso estaba riquisimo. Luego un surtido de croquetas caseras que estaban todas deliciosas. Y ya de principal pedimos paella de alcachofas con presa y costilla ibérica que estaba increíble.. super sabrosa y jugosa, de las más ricas que he comido. No pudimos pedir postre porque estábamos llenísimos pero tuvieron el detallito de traernos unas natillitas con barquillo. Tenían muchas paellas diferentes asi que si vuelvo a Toledo, de seguro volveré a Zal Gorda a probar mas platos.
