Ate here for the first time and I was very impressed. For the lunch time, the service was fast, the folks were friendly and the food was delicious. I had the chicken fried steak with the gravy on the side snd French fries. The steak was very tender and the fries were fresh cut potatoes and so yummy. Located in a converted gas station dating back to probably the 1920s. Fun location, very friendly staff. But the food was subpar. We ordered hamburgers which came on a non toasted grocery store hamburger bun, the veggies were fresh, but not special. The burger was lacking in flavor and overcooked to the point of being dry. This is a great place to stop!! Good size CFSteak and the burger my husband had was a fill up for him! The STAR of the plate was the huge serving of home cut fries! The fried pickles were a hit as well! Fun atmosphere too.
