This is my favorite place for lunch in Japan when I have a hangover. The atmosphere is always great even though I've only been there once on the 18th of the month. They have a special tendon day where you can get a large bowl of lightly fried foods with rice for only 500 yen. What User doesn't like about Tendon Tenya:
Had the ‘three brothers’ tempura pork , egg and some kind of grated vegetable tempura over rice with Miso soup on the side. Great for a quick lunch stop and pretty cheap (just under ¥800) no English menu, but they have some of the fake good labelled in the window in English. View all feedback.
I know it's a chain but sometimes you just want a quick meal with some tasty tempura and this chain does that consistently. Although they often don't speak English they do also offer an English menu for those who want it. Their prices are fair and I left a satisfied customer.
Nice place, the food is good and reasonable! I left very full. I chose the awao chicken tendon and was very happy.
Fast food chain specialized mostly in tempura dishes. Only a few streets from the luxury stores of Ginza, prices came back down to earth here. Had the set meal of tempura for under 1000¥ , it was quite yummy and filling. Came with bowl of rice, soup, small dish of veggies and assorted tempura. Staff was helpful and gave me English menu with pictures. Problems solved. No communication difficulty for a gaijin like me.
