Tempura Ishihara - Tokyo

Fantastic tempura! They kept open past opening hours to give us the complete tempura experience. The hostess, a very sweet old lady, was very helpful giving us full attention, guidning us through every dish (in japanese, which I don't speak, but still somehow we understood her). The chef, just behind the counter, did his best to introduce every dish in google-translated english. Can't ask for much more, well worth a visit!

Had a delicious lunch here and can't recommend it highly enough. It's tucked down an alleyway adjacent to (not within) a hair salon. There are only a few options and the two we picked were delicious and filling. We each added soup and a draft beer (Ebisu). Total came to about 6k.

Very traditional Tempura Restaurant. Very strong and joyful experience to japanese food. Staff is very kind. Meals were wonderful.

This is my favorite tempura shop in Japan. Tempura is made with lots of fresh seafood and local vegetables from Tokyo's Edomae area and fried in fresh oil. I wish there was such a thing as rice in Mediterranean cuisine. 本当にとても美味しい (Insta:oretwi)

Small family owned restraunt specializing in tenpula. The food is delicious and prepared with care. Clean place and extremely nice staff. If you're in the area, you must try this as a quick lunch spot. It's sort of hidden on a small street surrounded by a few other restraunts and many residential buildings.
