Starting on the second floor is the bar; a bit narrow... read more A great bar in Asagaya, Tokyo. (only 10 minutes from Shinjuku) The layout is a bit strange, but also good. Starting on the second floor is the bar; a bit narrow when the place is packed (usually during music events). But with the stage on the third floor people can escape the music and chat at the bar. Musicians can put their equipment on the fourth floor. It works in this sense. Just good food and great drinks. Staff and owners are first-class. Host’s art events as well as opening and closing days of galleries are usually combined with music events. A fun place in a cool little place in Tokyo. Asagaya is less known because near Koenji and Kichijoji get the spotlight, probably for the better!
