Very friendly and helpful staff who likes to answer questions about what is in any food item. Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu and they even have a vegan children option. The food was well cooked and delicious. The service was quick and easy. Make sure you have to sign the clipboard on the front with your name, or they will take the people behind you by calling their name. Temperature control before eating to help reduce the risk of Covid Spread. Beautiful rustic atmosphere with many seating, shops and additional items that are vegan friendly. I'm going back.
I recently visited Cafe Slow for the first time after discovering it on Instagram and wanting to check it out. On weekends, they host a Farmer's Market/Bulk Food Fair in their outdoor area where they sell nuts, chocolate, cookies, hot drinks, and organic vegetables. It's best to come around 11-11:30 am to avoid the midday crowds. There is a children's room with picture books and toys, as well as a bakery offering some vegan bread options (though it's recommended to double-check). The cafe itself has non-vegan options like fish, but their vegan dishes and desserts are clearly labeled and plentiful. They use organic, local, and fair trade ingredients, and the building is powered by solar energy. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options. I would have given it 5 stars, but since it's not a fully vegan restaurant, I could only give 4 stars on the website. I highly recommend Cafe Slow to everyone, despite being a bit far from where I live (I biked there in about 2 hours). Customers can bring their own containers to fill up on bulk goods.

The restaurant also maintains temperature control measures to reduce the risk of Covid spread. The atmosphere is rustic and charming, with plenty of seating and shops with vegan-friendly items. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
I had lunch here. The vegan plate was delicious, but a little expensive for the price. But since they use organic ingredients, I think it cannot be helped. I liked the spacious interior with a view into the garden, which is very rare for Japan, especially Kanto area.

The café itself has some non-vegan food (fish), but its vegan lunch, desserts, etc. are clearly marked and plentiful! They use organic, local and fair foods. The building uses solar power. There are indoor and outdoor seats. I would have given it 5 stars, but since there is not a fully vegan restaurant the site only allowed me to give 4 stars. I recommend it for everyone in the area. It is a little far from where I live, but I drove my bike there (it took about 2 hours). Bring your own containers when you can fill in their bulk goods!
