Authentic Indian restaurant with a Michelin recommendation and great concept. There specially is fish, so the waiter will bring a bird with the fresh fish from the day with the market price and you will choose how to cook and with which sauce. Pratta bread was really tasty too plus the hace a large amount of beer as well. Is a bit pricy but all was really tasty and well cook View all feedback.
What CG S dislikes about Bangera's Kitchen:
Food was okay. We ordered a tandoori fish for starters and it came at the end of the meal so kinda disappointing. Lunch Biryani set was good. Dosa was too oily and not crunchy at all. The menu has vast variety of fish dishes so I guess that is their specialty. Everything else is pretty mediocre. View all feedback.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bangera's Kitchen, a delightful Mangalore (South Indian) restaurant located in Ginza. I must say, it was an exceptional culinary experience that left a lasting impression. The restaurant ambiance is warm and inviting, with tasteful decor that reflects the rich cultural heritage of Mangalore. The staff members were attentive, friendly. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Bangera's Kitchen offers an extensive selection of authentic Mangalorean dishes, each prepared with great care and attention to detail. The flavors were simply outstanding, capturing the essence of traditional South Indian cuisine. Whether it was the fragrant spices, the vibrant colors, or the perfect balance of flavors, every bite was a delight for the senses. One dish that truly stood out was the Fish masala. The aroma and taste of this dish were simply unforgettable, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs at Bangera's Kitchen. I also had the opportunity to try their Lobster butter pepper garlic, which was equally delicious and resembled to the french cuisine. Aside from the amazing food, the staff members were knowledgeable about the menu, and they were more than happy to offer recommendations based on our preferences. Overall, I highly recommend Bangera's Kitchen to anyone who appreciates the exquisite flavors of Mangalorean cuisine. Whether you are a fan of spicy curries, savory dosas, or aromatic biryanis, signature spice cocktails this restaurant has it all. The combination of outstanding food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere makes dining a very pleasant experience.
Had the 2400 yen fish curry set and 1800yen chicken curry yet. The curries were extremely soupy/watery. I don’t know if this is a Mangalorean curry trait but personally I did not enjoy the curries at all. The flavors were overly salty and had no texture. There were decent portions of meat. This sounds very weird but the bread (710yen) we ordered tasted and looked very much like out of the packaging scallion pancakes. Again, the restaurant could’ve hand made the bread but the quality just wasn’t there for the price. The dessert was terrible. Staff were friendly, but personally would not revisit due to high price and bad food.
