We were a very annoying of 12 people who came in separate groups and were probably a nightmare to wait (since more people kept joining and we kept changing our mind and moving places, we also stayed until pretty late), but the staff was super nice all the time and helpful about the vegan options.
You can customize your own pizza from many types of base and topping options. Marinara is the only vegan base option, but you can enjoy the variety by customizing the toppings. I loved the dough, the garlic made it so rich and fulfilling. The vegan cheese cream was more mochi but it was good enough to substitute for mozzarella. You also have many choices of alcohol let alone organic wine. 2 types of red wine I had were great for the price! 650 for each glass) Also the service and atmosphere was great!
Lots of vegan options, clearly labeled and comes out quickly. The batter was crispy and cooked to perfection. Loved being able to choose individual toppings. Was a bit pricy for the size but enjoyed it no less.
English under 800 800 Degrees is a build-your-own pizza chain based out of California. We visited the Minami Aoyama (closest station: Omotesand location, and were immediately struck by how spacious and beautiful the restaurant is. The restaurant understands veganism and vegan options are clearly labeled. Start with the marinara base and choose your toppings. I have the soy cheese, vegan ham, and two veggie toppings. The ham wasn't anything special, but the pizza in general was delicious, generously sized, and came in at around 1500 yen. Not cheap, but not a bad price for a Tokyo pizza, especially one Wood fired. Service was friendly and we really enjoyed soaking up the atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again.
