We came after a recommendation from friends and we owe them great time. this was the first restaurant on our Umbria trip and even after a week it was the top of our lists. eating was amazing. I loved the use of local ingredients...in the various dressed (juniiper truffle), the quality of pasta and meat. the recommendation of a local wine was exceptional with the food that was served. it was so good and we were happy that we could meet john and thank him personally. Don't miss them.

I had my first experience with john years ago when he worked for a restaurant in todi and then followed him wherever he went. I was thrilled to discover that he had opened his own restaurant in todi. we chose his restaurant to celebrate my birthday with other friends. we started with appetizers pecorino fondue with crispy prosciutto on roasted brot and sweet, ripe pfirsichen on fresh greens layered. followed by the world-famous cacio and pepe with roasted and fresh truffles, then fills mignon with black truffles. for Dessert-Halbfriddo (art of soft ice with sweet carmelized mangles and caramel) he should have a Michael star (maybe two) everything was perfect, from service to squisite eating with a view of a breathtaking view of the hills of Umbria. we have eaten in almost any restaurant in the region todi and johns restaurant is heads and cocks over any other restaurant. I hope the restaurant will not be too popular that we will not get a reservation! bravo, bravo, bravo for a impeccable and perfect meal.
