I went for a coffee at the counter. At the time of payment, €1.10, I extract the coins necessary to pay the amount from my wallet. I hand the sum to the lady at the cash register who promptly gives it back to me, forcing me to change a large banknote. The stated reason is that the bank does not accept small change (to be precise, 1x €0.05, 2x €0.02, 1x €0.01 as well as a €1 coin). I didn't even want to pay in dollars... View all feedback.
