Fishermans Pier Fish Chip Van

This place is definitely as good as everyone says, although it might not offer the biggest portions for the price. I arrived around 6:45 PM and there was no wait, just a few people sitting around enjoying their meals. We ordered the "smokey meal," which consisted of smoked sausage and chips, along with large portions of curry sauce and fried mozzarella on the side. Everything was excellent—the sausage was thin and crispy, and the chips, with some potato skin still on, were the best part!

At the start of the pier, there’s a van that serves beautifully cooked local dishes. The food is prepared to order and offered at a reasonable price. The staff are very patient; I was a bit distracted watching the football at the Mishnish, another G8 location.

Excellent fish and chips. not greasy and really delicious. tonight she celebrated her birthday with a glass of wine. friendly service. will be back before we leave.

They serve the best fish and chips in all of Scotland! The friendly service, combined with the delicious food, makes it well worth a visit.

We love the food from this chip van, I had the halloumi supper my husband had fish supper, freshly cooked and generous portions made great value for money the texture of the halloumi was amazing!
