Looking for authentic on a commerical street, then go eat at Puerto San Pedro on Independecia Ave. if you do not like seafood then this is not your place. Service is excellent; attentive and polite. Our waiter made an ok effort to speak English to me, my wife is a Spanish speaker, which I thought was nice. What User doesn't like about Mariscos Puerto San Pedro:
I read other reviews and found this place appealing. Decided to have a family lunch to try great seafood. The truth is that it is only average compared to other similar restaurants in town and in another cities. What was most surprising and dissapointing was the slow service. If you are visiting Tlaquepaque, while this location is very convenient, there are many other options to consider. View all feedback.
Puerto San Pedro called us and waited for a place in a commercial overrated place over the street. The best hierbabuena (spearmint, lime and sugar drink) in the region will refresh your day while enjoying the filled Chiles prepared for 3 different species. Your Almeja Reyna Ceviche served on the Clam’s Shell is fresh and makes you think your by the sea. Their traditional dishes and creative preparations make it a top place for me. Seats are typical and comfortable, the blown glass and tin fishing lamps remind you that you are in the center of the city Art and Pottery of Tlaquepaque. Our guests shaved over the Marlin Tacos and all this while some traditional musicians (Mariachi) entertained us. A must in Tlaquepaque
While our server Noe was quite friendly and spoke very good English, the kitchen was a disappointment. The burger of my friend was very simple and simply ordered and prepared with dressing so that he was sent back. A problem with an exploding bottle of Chipotle Mayo ruins half of my meal should be an adjustment on our bill or a certain consideration. I would try other restaurants next time.
Stumbled into this great seafood restaurant by accident but a very pleasant surprise! Seafood is fresh and priced just right! Definitely recommend to visit!
My friend and I stayed here for lunch after our Spanish courses and had a great experience. I had 6 oysters on the half shell, a fried shrimp taco, and 3 beers and it was about $10. Fantastic. The service was good and the food was delicious. I was a little concerned about the raw oysters, but I write this review a day later to be sure I had no problems... and I didn't! Yay for me! Great location on the main tow with open air.
Right at the main train of Tlaquepaque. Attractive place with a large indoor terrace. Nice service. Probably the best guacamole I ever had and I live in the SW. Great fish. Appropriate prices. Would definitely go back.
