Travelled from Australia to catch up with family for Xmas. Had days here while discovering The Black Forest. It was perfect. Clean warm rooms. Stunning traditional food happy friendly hosts. Lots of walks from their front door. Beautiful view of Tittesee. Would LOVE...to come back here again. View all feedback.
We didn’t even sit a minute on the terrace of the Berggasthof , the panorama was even better then any dishes. Worth the long and not so’ good road.

We were hiking and unexpectedly found this wonderful gem of a restaurant. The food here is absolutely incredible. They offer some unique dishes influenced by the Alsace region. We loved the thin-crusted pizza-like tart with cheese and ham. The goulash soup was also fantastic. You...must try the Honig Schapsle. We loved speaking our limited German with the owners. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!
We found this place on the Internet when searching for a place to stay after hiking. So glad we found it. The food is phenomenal. Our room is small but cute and very clean, and we slept well. Nice to not have to worry about...driving after spending an evening eating, drinking and chatting with the nice couple that run the place. Sitting outside after our hike on such a beautiful day was awesome.
A simple and rustic forest inn on the top of the Hochfirst mountain, where you can eat and drink and gather forces for the way down. A great moment to spend with the family, friends, or in a couple. You easily talk to your neighbours....Next to the building there is a great view to the Titisee. There are also some benches in front of the house for the summer season.
