The are nostalgic . They havent changed from past decade stil same .not only their appearance but also their taste is semmma❤️
Visited the shop at 7 PM, Bought around 1.5 Kgs of Halwa.My Friend bought 10 Rs piece in Banana leaf, that taste was amazing compare to the Halwa which you take home & taste after a day.Anyone visiting Tirunuveli, don't miss this Halwa shop.Worth visiting & buying
We heard of this Iruttu Kadai Halwa shop many a times when we used buy Halwa at Chennai. We had a chance to visit this shop at Tirunelveli during our December 2016 trip.This shop is just opposite to Nellaiappar Temple. timings are in the evening between 5 pm to 8 pm. In case of stock getting exhausted, they close the shop before 8 also. Fresh wheat Halwa prepared with pure Ghee here. After tasting the Halwa here, we cannot prefer tasting Halwa from other shops. Be aware of Bogus Halwa shops selling under the name of Iruttu Kadai at Tirunelveli.
Real halwa shop were delicious hot halwa sweet served. Shop timings 5 PM to 7-8 P.M. Halwa prepared with pure ghee and wheat in Tamirabarani Water which gives away special taste when compared to halwa prepared in other cities
