Very nice rooftop restaurant, service was very caring and fast. Amazing tandooris with a tandoor, grill and everything made in front of you on the terrasse. Loved the seafood! We strongly recommend! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thendral:
We were staying at Ramyas and decided to eat at Thendral though it was a little warm... Got a corner table for our family and ordered fish fry, prawns varuval and butter chicken.. Butter chicken took a long time to get served, it seemed like a case where the server forgot to place the order with the kitchen... The fresh lime soda had an issue with the lemon, seemed as though one of them had old lime and it tasted bad... View all feedback.

Endless list of items for Buffet breakfast. Evening Al-a- Carte- Wide selections of North & South Indian including chettinad, Chinese etc. Very reasonably priced and all dishes can be shared for two persons. The night city breeze is very relaxing

Butter chicken took a long time to get served, it seemed like a case where the server forgot to place the order with the kitchen... The fresh lime soda had an issue with the lemon, seemed as though one of them had old lime and it tasted bad - the drink was replaced when it was pointed out... Prawns and Fish were both good... There was mention about mosquitoes, we were seated inside and hence didn't get troubled by mosquitoes...
Good rooftop ambience and music with good lighting. The buffet spread is okay with some regular items. Live counter is also available with dosas etc. Desserts can be improved, very basic items.
Finding a breezy rooftop restaurant with a good ambience was perfect for our evening meal. The food was very good, excellent value, and the young waiter who served us attentive and delightful.BUT. Firstly: we saw a number of rats scurrying along outside the railingsSecondly: be warned. Either take cash or be prepared for an epic and laborious performance if you use an international credit card. These won't work in the restaurant. You have to be escorted down to the lobby, and we spent a good 20 minutes trying to find a credit card machine down there that actually worked and would accept our card. This is the only time in India we encountered such a problem and seems the result of a some indefinable internal accounting system that is of no benefit to the international traveller.
