Taj Restaurant - Tiruchirapalli

Friend recommended this place for Briyani, We planned for a Lunch out. the pot briyani was excellent in taste but lacks in texture.

It is a good restaurant.the maintenance of the restaurant is good and the service and maintanence is also good.

Woodlands in Hotel Femina is a nice cozy vegetarian restaurant with its own exclusive vegetarian kitchen. The South Indian cuisine is good, as would be expected of any good restaurant in Trichy. The rest of the menu is equally pleasing to ones taste buds. The buffet breakfast is good and one would do well not to rush through it but to savour it at leisure. The pongal is not to be missed. The lunch surprise for me was "Andhra Meals"! It was good but disappointing from the Andhra chilly point of view.

Once the pride of Trichy eat outs, the restaurant desperately needs a revamp. Service is pathetic and staff attitude is most unfriendly.

This restaurant is situated at Femina Hotel, Tiruchirapalli. Top class restaurant. Pure vegetarian restaurant. There is a non veg restaurant in this hotel but it has got a completely separate kitchen from the veg kitchen serving Woodlands Restaurant. This has been & will be my all time favourite restaurant. I am 58 years old, and have eatenat most places (veggie food). There is no place in this world, I feel, which can give you delicious mouth watering Crispy Onion Rava Dosa like this restaurant does. Also the Ghee Dosa was absolute class. Whenever I go to Tiruchi, I stay only at Femina Hotel & enjoy the food here at Woodlands. The service is at times slow, but the tasty food more than compensates for everything else. Additionally, the buffet breakfast spread here is absolute top class. There is nothing to complain about or crib about this hotel. The Tutti-Frutti ice cream served for dinner is divine in taste. Thank you Woodlands. Keep it up. Looking forward to visiting you again soon.
