One Road Ice Cream Company - Tirau

The icecream was absolutely delicious! I had the Chocolate Fruit and Nut and Baileys and my friend had the Passion fruit icecream and Passion fruit sorbet. They were perfect. I just give 4 Stars as service was very slow despite their being 2 servers on it was a bit stuffy inside. Overall loved it, would recommend and would be back

Most likely the best icecream I've tried so far in NZ, and I've had a fair bit of them. The first GF cone I found that that tastes just as a normal waffle cone, so good. Most flavors are GF too. I had the tiramisu and boysenberry swirl and my partner had tiramisu, lemon mirangue and chocolate... all were on point.

The variety of flavors is good. They have both sorbets and ice creams. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices aren't too bad either.

Excellent. The sorbets are unbelievably amazing. Highly highly recommended. And the lady was very nice too -we didnt have cash so she let us enjoy our ice cream and then go to the atm and return to pay. (They take only local NZ credit card)

So glad we stopped for ice cream in Tirau, the best ice cream we have had in a long time. All made on the premises, creamy, delicious, a generous serve of ice cream and our dogs got their own cup of deliciousness too! Honey and fig was honey sweet and a good balance of fig pieces, the chocolate dark and rich and smooth. It is right on the main road, Parking either at the door or next door at the petrol station, and the playground is at the back of the parking area.
