Jerk Chicken was excellent and the beer was... read more On a warm evening, we enjoyed dinner at Balm Beach Tavern, especially the view from the second floor outdoor patio. Jerk Chicken was excellent and the beer was cold. The salmon dish arrived a little undercooked but staff remedied it by providing a well cooked version. Our group enjoyed this place.

Most of the seating is on the terrace with some tables offering a magnificent view of the lake and sunset (especially when dining in the evening). The food is delicious, and I have tried a variety of dishes during my visits. The restaurant is small with a small staff, so service can be a bit slow when it is busy, but the staff is always friendly. When it is not busy, service is efficient. One thing to note is that you must have a high tolerance for spiders as the restaurant is located in a cottage area where spiders are common. However, there are nets covering the deck, walls, balcony edge, and lights to keep them at bay. Although I never had a spider land on me, I was constantly on the lookout.

Both dishes wer... read more My mother and I had a late dinner at this restaurant. My mother ordered the pulled pork nachos and I ordered the chef's club salad with brisket. Both dishes were delicious! I highly recommend the salad, it had a wonderful blend of flavors with fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked bacon, and amazing brisket. The staff and owners were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
