What an awesome spot tucked away on the way to castle point. We ended up just coming for a drink/toilet stop but had a great chat with the owners who were setting up for the rugby later that night. Genuinely lovely people and if we didn’t have to be in Wellington that night, I would have loved to stay longer.
On a MR2 run to Castlepoint and stopped in for lunch. Lovely meals at great prices and friendly helpful staff. Happy to recommend.

Over the past 3 years I've enjoyed at least 3 fantastic pub lunches and relaxing catchups with members of Patriots Defence Force Motorcycle Club. Lots of Motorcycle Parking and sunshine each visit.
