I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars. We went for lunch and were the only ones there. The food arrived promptly. The waiter was polite, but not very attentive considering we were the only customers (we were a group of 8). What User doesn't like about Jumbo Crab:
The sauce they use for the seafood bag is extremely watery and has no taste. It is very pepper heavy and it extremely lowers the sauce so that it is very evil. We asked for a thicker sauce, and the waiter said we should have been seasoning for me, but we had never sung at Jumbo-Kreb. We got more sauce, but it wasn't so thick and still tasted very nasty pepper. I wouldn't recommend it! View all feedback.
When I first arrived, I was kind of confused because no one was in the establishment. But after reading the review and the recommendation from a friend, I decided to dine in, and I am glad I did. The food was excellent. After I was there for a while, other customers came so it wasn?t so empty after that.
Not bad, nor outstanding either. Seated promptly, friendly staff. Ordered a typical seafood boil (shrimp, crabs, etc). Seasoning is based on what you request. If you aren't big on salt, stick to garlic butter with medium heat.
Were the only people here for a while and were hesitant. Let me tell you- this was an amazing meal. Probably the best I ever had. The drinks were incredible the June bug was my favorite. so much food for the price. We took a lot home as well. Server was so sweet. jay Had an amazing time and can?t wait to be back .
Fast service, not overly crowded for a Saturday night, and the food was outstanding. Plus, the prices were reasonable. I believe I have discovered a new favorite spot.
The waiter was very friendly. The fish basket had a large piece cut into four pieces that were thick and crispy. The red potatoes and corn on the cob were delicious, but for the price, there was no fish included. I paid $25 for 3 small red potatoes and an ear of corn. The dish should definitely include fish for that price.
