My order was incorrect (how can fish be miscommunicated fr... read more Only us and one other couple who came in 30 minutes after us. Food freshly cooked, hubby enjoyed his. My order was incorrect (how can fish be miscommunicated from pork and I even pointed to what I was ordering, nowhere near the fish section on the menu! Waitress became stroppy in tone and manner towards me and put my order through again. The couple who came in after us was presented with their meal and low and behold one was the meal presented to me minutes before! My order was rushed through although hubby had finished his meal by the time I got mine. My meal was under cooked so the pork was tough still potatoes hard. I ate as much as I could on paying the bill the waitress obviously knew by now it had been their mistake order wise was trying to be so helpful and friendly. We paid and left. My hubby's meal was cooked to perfection and the other couple seemed to have enjoyed their meal also. I will not be returning to this eaterie due to no apology for her mistake was made at anytime.

This was the worst meal we've ever had in many trips to Cyprus... read more This was an impromptu stop for a taverna style traditional lunch. Wished we'd carried on driving. This was the worst meal we've ever had in many trips to Cyprus. The service was poor and disinterested, other tables were left dirty throughout our lunch and they had run out of simple things like a choice of any beer other than Heineken. We ordered chicken mix pitta sandwiches which seemed to take a long time to come. When they did we were completely disappointed. The pitta was totally dry with no tazeki or anything else to lift it. Aside from the charcoal burnt skewer of chicken and the skin-on sheftalia sausage there was nothing on the plate or in the pitta other than a heap of rough chopped tomato and cucumber. No napkins on our table and no oil vinegar both of which we had to ask for, and we also requested some tazeki to try and make it palatable. In summary it was almost inedible as a lunch and we couldn't wait to leave the dismal and dirty cafe surroundings as quickly as we could. By now you might have realised we would not recommend making this a stop on your journey. On the plus side though we now feel we have had the very worst that Cyprus has to offer, so having anything else, anywhere, cannot possibly be as bad as this!
