I have been going to this place since I was a kid, the food is always great and the fact the building and business has been around for so long makes it a great place to go with family and friends to share stories over great food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
What richardcrisis doesn't like about Harmony Chinese Food:
Meh. Nothing wowed me in any way. Place is pretty old looking. We were to pick up at 3:30 (ordered WELL in advance) stuff wasn't ready till 3:50. Food was OK, and honestly my gf said it was really good... but I wasn't a fan. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.
Food is brought out to buffet as needed and kept fresh and hot. Choices are limited but good. Staff was excellent in removing our plates and service. Senior discount is great. Street parking only. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
We went there last weekend for lunch the food wasn't to had but it would of been better if the food was warm or even steaming the ketchup bottle lid was nasty when we opened it don't think we will be going back Parking: Good Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$40–50 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Buffet Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot
Normally the Harmony has the best chinese food in town. Tonight they messed up on two of the dishes we ordered, no big deal. I called and complained and was hoping for some kind of resolution. The girl on the phone was silent. They did NOT offer to remake the dishes for us, they did not offer a refund. I was polite and respectful, and yet no resolution. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
After I was told my order would be ready in 30min I went there 35 min later to get it. Spend another 30min waiting for my take out order to be ready. Spent $115 here last night. We used to go all the time but quality has declined. Figured I'd give it one last go since we haven't been in awhile. Asked for no mushrooms on 2 dishes, was charged $1 each dish to NOT put mushrooms in. Also no onions in another which had onion anyway and also charged me $1 for that. The rush was over cooked and mushy (you can visually see it's mush). Chicken balls were so hard you could not even eat them and majority of the rest of the food was bland. Goodbye harmony. Never again. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$100+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I heard about it I read some of the reviews and weren't too good I went in there just the other day I didn't know that they don't serve their buffet till the weekends I guess there's more people on the weekends than there are during the week but from the looks of it they didn't look too appetizing the selection so I walked out I don't think I'll be coming back I'll have to look for the Mandarin..
