Very friendly staff, great menu selections and the buffet is fantastic. The food was fresh, hot and seasoned perfectly. Our table was split with some ordering buffet some from the menu. But we all agreed, the meals were delicious. Large selection of vegetarian options and small plate options for light eaters. What Adoll Andrews doesn't like about Ralph's Barbecue Restaurant:
Stopped by today while passing through. The food was flavorless. The fried chicken was a beautiful golden brown however there was not a pinch of seasoning in sight. The greens and greeen beans tasted straight from the can. For $20pp we could not finish one plate paid an hurried out to find some food with taste. Money wasted. View all feedback.
Been going there since I was 5. I am 50 . Every time we go to NC to go to the beach we stop there. Best BBQ
(Nobody in our group is a light eater) We tried to go there again on 7/10 but the dining area was closed for renovations. As the waiters passed our table with plates in hand we were already planning our next visit.
I don’t have pictures but I just want to give a review…My husband and I are from Maryland and live about 3 hours away from this place. Whenever we are trying to get our bbq fix, Ralph’s is the place to go. I’m not big on eating many of the other food items on the bar so I stick to what I like. The minced bbq is always great and the coleslaw and the hush puppies gets a thumbs up from me. The greens are good and let me not forget about that amazing fried chicken. I don’t like the green beans nor do I eat Brunswick stew so I can’t speak on that. Needless to say we take a to go order for family back home. Ok enough said.
Everything about this visit was fabulous. The hot food was hot, the cold food cold. Glasses were kept filled. Food was seasoned perfectly.
Great food and friendly service. It's a local restaurant in Weldon, NC, with a rich history. The wait to get in is definitely worth it.
