W... read more We visited this restaurant for lunch based on a recommendation. Empanadas as an appetizer, then llama steak in a delicious mushroom sauce with Quinoa risotto. We had the best food in five weeks in Argentina and Chile, and we had some fine meals at this time. Great restaurant very recommended.

We were recommended by the owner of one of the shops and we were not disappointed. I had a really delicious Calabaza soup while my husband grilled goat cheese with 'Andean' potatoes. Delicious. Very recommended.

We knew there was this great restaurant called Yacon as we learned from the internet. The place is very nice indeed, made of local, traditional materials and the service was excellent. We had amazing llama stake and mushroom sauce with quinoa risotto with delicious home wine. Don’t miss the original, fantastic desserts! Me and my husband also loved the posada they have at the back.

We was running away from the crowd in Humahuaca where most of the restaurants were full and rushing to get a place. We decided to take it easy and make the lunch to be a pleasure instead of just the need to get satisfied. Yacon, as always was not too busy during midday. A soft music in the background made our stay delicious. We ordered empanadas, their quinoa pie, llama beef, fried chips called papas fritas rejillas cut as waffles, crispy and delicious... Throught he window we could still enjoy the sun shining outside and the cool weather of the inside. The dishes came after the appetizers and the empanads with the typical llajwa. Everything was so good we left no room for any dessert. But we were not only satisfied but happy to have chosen YACON as our home for the lunch. Hope you also enjoy of it. Angie/Giena

Chef attendant super friendly. Very nice ambience. Not very easy to find location but is worth looking for it! I had the best pesto pasta ever! Soup and empanadas were also good. It accepts visa too!
