This place serves the best cakes I had in a long, long time. The owners are German descendants and their cakes are based on the original German recipies! I especially recommend the apple strudel made by owner's grandmother which is delicious! The teas are great too and the service and it's totally affordable. A place you want to come back to. Hard to find, but we persisted. Arrived at 19:45 but they close at 20:00 so we decided to come back another day. We arrived at 11:15 and this time she said she was not open yet while last time she said open at 9. Probably the best cakes on town but we will never know. .. View all feedback.
Nice place! We asked for a brunch twice we went. It has excellent quality pastry shop! Happy to find these places in the north, they add even more to the journey. I recommend them completely! All rich and beautiful
We met this beautiful tea house on the recommendation, and it was our chosen place to have breakfast the rest of the stay in Tilcara, without a doubt forced stop for tourists arriving in this town. The delicious cakes, made at the moment in sight and you can order half a portion as they are great. It also has rich options for the team salted and have a variety of tea based on plants and herbs in the area, you have the option to buy them in individual boxes. The house is decorated with many ancient objects so it is a journey to the past, and its inner courtyard takes all eyes. The attention is not fast as the same kids who cooked serve you, but they are very kind. We'll be back!
We found it by chance, and when we tried breakfasts and snacks we went there every day. 4 generations, every landlord, have a jam of rose petals that take months to make it, all riquious. The best place away for breakfast and/or snack! And especially cheap
In my recent visit to Tilcara we went by chance to this place and were surprised. There are a lot of desserts that can be consumed by buying portions or half portions very good idea to be able to try more things! . They brought us some delicious homemade masitas that we then also bought and took us to continue the trip! Very good variety of teas and coffee. To get back!
The place is very warm, many details in the decoration. The food is excellent, rich, of quality, both with blends and coffee.
