This is a must see place if you visit Tijuana, nothing fancy, the Regulars are mostly Natives like me, although it is on the Zona Rio Area, it is not easy to see from the street, that is why you will not find many Tourists. One of the most fun and most tasty places I have been in a long time. This great bar and restaurant sits in the middle of a really cool group of breweries and tap houses. I will eventually try them all. Sotano Suizo is a Mexican bar with a very Swiss twist. The menu is great and you must have the signature foot long hot dog. I can't wait to go to this great place again. CK

Noisy, very crowded nights & weekends or on football/soccer game days. Their beer is good and the food is surprisingly good for a bar. Go when thirsty and hungry. Some plates are huge, ideal for sharing among friends. Parking is terrible, sometimes is best to park at a shopping center across the street.
This is one of the hangon places in the city, it is located about five minutes from the San Ysidro border in front of Centro Cultural Tijuana. It is not that big place but the environment, music and drinks all combined makes a great place to visit with your friends..also they sells souvenirs. The con is that you need to pay for parking or get your car parked in Plaza Rio right across the street that is cheaper.
This is a sports bar that has managed to remain one of TJ locals favorite places for decades! In the heart of "Zona Río", 5 minutes from the border. They play 80's music, the food is great... gotta try their amazing-huge-delicious-swiss sausage hot dog (it's called "mamut").
