Mexican coffee was very good. Location we went to was just a walk up, take out. Perfect for our morning stop. Barista created a nice heart on my novia's latte. Which was very nice since it was day before Valentines day. View all feedback.
What Ελλάδα Θεοδώρου doesn't like about Das Cortez:
Hands down one of the best coffee houses in Tijuana, if not in the neighboring San Diego as well. Delicious capuccinos and a chic design near the Zone Norte, but out if the beaten path.
The Das Cortez I visited is at the corner of Brasil and Durango streets in the Colonia Madero neighborhood (also known as Cacho) of TJ. It's been there four years serving local artists, business people, etc. Excellent macchiato made with organic coffee from Chiapas. A real barista (see photo of my macchiato). They also serve fresh sandwiches, pastries, muffins. They have a nice table and benches, one fellow was there with a sweet dog. Lots of people driving up to take out coffee. Welcoming staff.
