Staff was friendly, rates were affordable, and they actually had quite a lot to choose from on the menu (not to mention postcards, art, and other fun cat-themed souvenirs...for sale). Most of the cats there seemed genuinely interested in being pet, which leads me to believe they are genuinely happy there. My only complaint: they do have house rules, but in the future I'd like to see them enforced. When I arrived with my travel partner we were alone for a while. But then a group of came in, and another couple, and it really didn't feel relaxing anymore for me or the kitties—the space is a cozy and the large group was particularly rowdy. One of the people was even being a little pesky to the cats (poking with toys and talking loudly). Someone monitoring people (even just checking in occasionally) might prevent this. Regardless, it was a great visit, and my complaint is really more about other visitors rather than the place or staff itself. I even saw one of the kitties get adopted! I definitely want to come back here again, and I'd recommend to any cat lover visiting Tijuana.
