We have chosen La Tradicion quite at random walk through downtown Tijuana and it has really exceeded expectations. The menu is full of Spanish, but our waiter spoke perfectly English and was happy to explain the menu items we did not understand and help us select some good options. The table Tortilla chips were a little hard for my taste, but the salsa was very good. The Margarita de la casa was big and tasted great,... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Tradicion:
Absolutely terrible. You don't have a good kitchen. And you're sitting on a coffee table. With straw bales as chairs. The floors are also dirty. Neither my husband nor I were the least impressed. View all feedback.
Tourist Trap ?. Avoid this place trash? molcajetes, 40 dollars for a molcajete that allegedly serves 3 people more for like 1 hungry person and they bring you rice and beans for just one person. Terrible service as soon as a large group of Asian tourists appeared, they have completely forgotten us. I ordered Tacos? For a homeless lady and her daughter, they took an hour to bring her tacos that she had even left and came back. The Horchata is added garbage on the way powder flavored with lighta condensed milk? Save your money and go somewhere else, find much better service anywhere else. My wife ordered a 7 mare soup and they brought her a plate with 2 shrimps?, 4 shrimp heads and a Karacol?. She sent the shield rite back and asked where it is? crab and the other ingredients they said we were all out, but we can add more after they were already vaccinated and their plate shortened. Of course we didn't say thank you because the soup looked sad and inconspicuous?. My father was never angry again?

The table Tortilla chips were a little hard for my taste, but the salsa was very good. The Margarita de la casa was big and tasted great, but not as strong as it could be. I had tacos with Carne Asada and a taco with pork. We also had a huge dish of chicken nachos and a shrimp cocktail. The prices were very reasonable, about $45 for 3 people with drinks. If you are looking for a good meal in Tijuana, make your way to La Tradicion.

Friendly people, good food and clean. Can't go wrong tacos, tequila and Tijuana
Food portions are extremely small for what they charge you. The waiters were nice and attentive, the food wasn't bad at all, but you really can get way better food somewhere else. Not to mention that the area is sketchy and it is difficult to find parking.
