Contribute Feedback What Missouri Mertz likes about Asadero Puro Sonora:
There are many Asaderos here in Tijuana. Some are part of a chain and others are private. Puro Sonará seems to be a family business. You have good food, but can improve customer service. The meat is impeccable. I tried Arrachera, Rib Eye Chicken, they're always on the point. You also have the best Horchata around, yes you can taste the rice in it. View all feedback.
What Missouri Mertz doesn't like about Asadero Puro Sonora:
The meat's taste was good. The size of the portion could be improved for the price. The place lacks in service. The lady never came back to check on me. When I asked for the Wi Fi password, I was told that it was not available for the public?!?! Strange. Oh, and no, they don't take credit cards. No signs whatsoever. View all feedback.
That was one of my favorite places in tijuana. I'm here my whole life and made many memories. we had ordered ribeye and filet mignon for 3 people, and when it came, we saw that the ribeye had barely meat, so we asked if we could get a new one (this is the second time that we asked very respectfully in a restaurant.) the waiter said that the ribeyes always came marbeled, but I had a million ribeye and they could not see it clearly. we did not mention it at that time, but we were very willing to pay for both steaks. the chef came out and told us the same, so we asked for another cut. in a very bad setting the cook took the whole plate and went without saying another word. she came back later without saying anything again, and fell the new cut. the plate came back with only the new cut and no filet mignon. we paid the ****. the attitude and actions really speak for this place. I never come back here again.
Really good. are great. the rib eye would recommend

I finally have the chance to visit here. I'm so happy, too. Well, today a big rainstorm hit here in Southern California/Northern Mexico, so the streets were somehow naked and not very many people out and about how I am. We were the only customers and the place was very clean, but a little cold. I noticed they had a propane-terrace heating in the middle of the dining room. I'm not sure if it was for an outdoor terrace that I still have to see, or whether it was intended for the girls inside. We ordered the Rib Eye Steaks with salad bar, a coffee, a coke and an ice tea. The salad bar was okay. The steaks... OMG This is the first place where I was in Tijuana who cooked my steak as ordered. The young broiler cook came out to talk to us and asked us personally how we wanted our steaks to be cooked. Perfection. Only fed with sea salt and served on a viewing plate (Google it) with a grilled half onion and a few charred Chiles. We didn't have to use salt or pepper on steaks. I'm tired and happy. What else can I say? Great prices too. they also have many to go specials. We say over a dozen orders to leave the place while we've dined. Excellent... Happy Valentines Day and thanks, Jay
Food has good quality but their prices are a bit steep. Overall it is a good place to go if you want to eat made-to-order parrilladas (ribeye, arrachera, etc) and are not on a tight budget.
