Without exception all the meals were delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgable. The fondue evening (choice of beef or cheese) and the seafood buffet followed by half a lobster were fantastic!
It's a magical place to be!! Everything about this hotel is amazing! The rooms, costumer service is exellent! Oh and the view is out of this world!!
We came to celebrate my birthday during our ski vacation last January, and were very disappointed. The food was OK but nothing more, certainly not worth the prices! One of our main courses was just without flavor, and we sent it back. They actually gave us a first course as a compensation, which was nice. The service was also OK and not more, again didn 't expect it in such a place. The cheese buffet and the desert were the bright light of this dinner, both excellent. For such high rated restaurant it was not so good, any other place in Israel in this level will exceed it easily. I wouldn 't recommend. There are much cheaper places with better food in the area.
We were three persons in our party and we all ordered the set menu of the day. The starter was fish tartar. It was made of roughly chopped cod and knife clam and looked grey and boring. However, the worst part was that it was full of sand. The waiter explained that it was from the knife clam (and said he was sorry ! The main course was duck confit, which tasted good but looked quite boring on the plate (just served with a bit of potato purée and nothing else . For dessert they had a dessert buffet. However, they only had a few leftovers and most of the cakes were finished (we could only reserve a table for 9pm and apparently they didn’t fill up the dessert buffet as the cakes were eaten so we were faced with a lot of empty plates!
