We went to this place with a group of 10 people during our ski holiday. It was really nice. The waiter (Dimitri) was alone for the whole restaurant because his colleague was ill, but he managed it very well, he was really nice and funny and we even got a free digistif. Really nice place! What Edin Furlan doesn't like about L'armoise:
Undercooked pizza, supermarket steak, worst fries and a minimum waiting time of atleast 45min per dish. Only go to this restaurant of you are in the worst mood and want to keep your mood for the rest of the day. View all feedback.
Our 2nd visit following a pleasant experience last year. Family run restaurant, savoyarde specialities, pizza and more. All great. My son and I particularly enjoyed barbecuing beef at the table - just the way we like it. All good value topped off with a large pichet of house wine at only €11. An excellent quality meal for 5 with friendly service for €180 including tip - best we've found in Tignes.

We were recommended this restaurant by a couple in our group for the Chef's night off and we went as a group of 9. There was plenty of choice from the menu for individual dishes or fixed price menu. My wife and I had the €30 three course menu and we were not disappointed. A large salad starter including smoked salmon and duck, an enormous steak and an assiete of 3 deserts was of the highest quality. Combined with a carafe of house red for €10 we were also pleased with the overall value. We've eaten worse food for more money on occasion when skiing. A warm and friendly traditional French restaurant - give it a go - it beats the hotel recommended burger, chips and Pizza bars.
This place is an absolute disgrace, we got a menu where the started was a plate of green leafs with some potatoe mini cubes, main-small plate of defrosted lasagne and for the dessert we asked for sufflet and we got a ball of frozen ice cream and that cost 23euros what a waste of money. Then we waited 30mins + for the bill no staff, no one to call, total chaos, they must be taking people for idiots especially when you speak english, to give an ice cream rather than ordered sufflet it's far beyond any decency.
Having a traditional meal for our last night, my husband and I shared a rackets off the a la carte menu, highly recommend it. The ambience is fab in a chalet style, paintings of cows on wall wooden furniture etc. Reasonably priced a bonus. Booking must
