My son and I particularly enj... read more Our 2nd visit following a pleasant experience last year. Family run restaurant, savoyarde specialities, pizza and more. All great. My son and I particularly enjoyed barbecuing beef at the table - just the way we like it. All good value topped off with a large pichet of house wine at only €11. An excellent quality meal for 5 with friendly service for €180 including tip - best we've found in Tignes.

We came here as a group on the Chalet Host's night off and were able to find meals which suited the tastes and pockets of all of our diverse group (ranging from... read more We came here as a group on the Chalet Host's night off and were able to find meals which suited the tastes and pockets of all of our diverse group (ranging from c. 20 to 50+ in age). I had the 24Eu Menu which was well cooked and well presented with a good choice of dishes for starter, main and dessert. A range of other menus and a la carte dishes (including pizzas and salads) meant that all of our party found something to choose. The wine was very good (for a 'house red') and good value. Service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, although it was a little tight for space around the table (but probably similar to other ski resort restaurants). All in all a very pleasant, relaxed 'evening off' from Chalet food.

We stumbled across L'armoise and it was a really very pleasant st... read more We were looking for a traditional Savoyard restaurant to spend our night away from the chalet. We stumbled across L'armoise and it was a really very pleasant stumble. With very traditionally French recipes that include snails with cream and mushrooms, cheese and beef fondue and raclette a rich selection to feast on to say the least. We left feeling very full and very satisfied. The female owner and lovely waitress couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming treating us to a raspberry liquor as we left a really perfect evening. A few others fro our chalet went there too and thoroughly enjoyed their food. The French were dining there too, it's always a good sign!
