Can you tell me why the restaurant is called La Queue de Cochon (The Pig's Tail) when there is no pig's tail dish?
Excellent experience! The service was perfect from start to finish, with truly outstanding, attentive, and welcoming staff. The dishes were simply delicious, homemade, and bursting with flavor. We had a wonderful evening in a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!
What our English friends do so well! After walking down the corridor, you step through the front door and arrive in a truly unique place. A blend of English pub and numerous adjoining rooms spread over three levels. The ambiance is art deco, yet undeniably British. The welcome is very warm, and the extensive menu offers a wide selection of original and high-quality starters and main courses. Here again, you'll find distinctly British flavors. We had been waiting for many years for the opportunity to dine at La Queue de Cochon, and we were won over. We will return in winter, as the restaurant is closed during the summer. A surprising and ultimately very enjoyable experience.
A fantastic restaurant and bar. The super talented chef produces a consistently excellent range of carefully thought out dishes and the staff are friendly and attentive. If you come to Tignes don’t miss out on the QDC but don’t forget to book as it is always popular. 5 stars all round
Fantastic find in Tignes 2100. Nondescript on the outside, great cost atmosphere inside in the bar (sofas etc) and restaurant. Food superb perfectly cooked veal chop on the bone, gratin potatoes; other dishes included duck parmentier. Bar person and lady of the house who served us v friendly. Wine good value also.
