My friend and I visited this cafe every morning for what we would say was the best coffee we could find in the area! I have read the other reviews and can see s... read more My friend and I visited this cafe every morning for what we would say was the best coffee we could find in the area! I have read the other reviews and can see some truth in what they say, however, we were always welcomed and looked after. I think this may have something to do with the culture? While we are not French, our regular visits may have had something to do with our acceptance by them? I visited on a number of occasions last year also, and found the experience similar. I do not think that this is the place to go if you are in a hurry! Anyway, we liked it, and will visit again next year. One important tip; if you ask for water make sure you ask for tap water, otherwise you will pay €5 for a small bottle of Evian.

Staff made an error with our order, and when we chased it up, the waitress told us that she should not be treated as a 'dog'. We were absolutely flabbergasted, I have never seen anything like it. Avoid this place like the plague - they are plenty of friendly and good quality restaurants at the bottom of the TUFS list
