visited brasserie l’arbina in week 7 during the busy holiday season. it was very cozy. good atmosphere and a great planner. my son had a children's menu he loved very much! I'll eat here in a definitive way! the service was really good and the waiters looked very good at us. the children's menu came very fast, this is a great plus! View all feedback.
What Alix Brunet doesn't like about Brasserie L'Arbina:
The waiter was very friendly. However, the food and drinks were of poor quality: The ‚freshly squeezed orange juice‘ (5.5€ for about 1.5dl) was very watery nor can I recommend the vegetarian wok. View all feedback.
We chose Brasserie L'Arbina on the Chalet staff's night off. The atmosphere was jolly and friendly. Large menu typical of the area (Savoie) plus pizzas. Staff jovial and hard working it was a fairly full restaurant.
Having patronised The Arbina for many years for drinks, meals and, before Danski took over the hotel part of the business, accomodation, it is sad to have to report on the recent decline in standards. 6 of us went in for apres ski drinks at...around 5pm last Wednesday. 2 already had a drink and they were sitting at a table for 4. There were no other tables free in the main bar to accommodate 6 as some had been laid up for dinner, so we went to the section at the rear left where there were free tables and sat down. The new barman immediately came and told us we couldn 't sit there as it had been cleaned ready for the evening 's dinner although no tables were set . We were surprised at this frosty welcome but moved back to the main section of the bar, sitting at 2 different tables. We were deliberating what to do when, a few minutes later, the same barman approached us and asked what we wanted to drink. We said that if we couldnt all sit together then we didn 't want to stay, to which he replied Ce n 'est pas grave It doesn 't matter . How incredibly rude. We went to another bar for our drinks. There 's now doubt that The Arbina has the best position on the Tignes snow front, so it will always get plenty of business, but there 's a plethora of other good bars and restaurants around now and I 'll be taking my business elsewhere in future. It seems like the barman needs to go on a basic customer service course...
Eating was good, but from the moment we arrived, the staff was very unfriendly and arrogant. in addition, the bill was wrong and they made us pay extra. I would not recommend this place if you would like to enjoy a beautiful holiday.
I've been here for several years. I was recently deposed by the bad reviews, but for lunch on a snow-covered day and was pleasantly surprised. the personal was attentive. eating was good. to forget about my main course and need to remember several times before eating arrived. it is a pleasant alternative to the other nutrition of fondue or raclette to offer in the village.
Great eating and really good atmosphere in the brasserie. I recommend there for lunch or dinner:
